"The Gist of Freedom is Still Faith" is now part of the National Park Service's NATIONAL UNDERGROUND RAILROAD NETWORK TO FREEDOM!

When Lesley Gist encountered the chance to present a blog talk radio show, she knew it would be an amazing opportunity. In her ten-year genealogy research journey for The Gist of Freedom is Still Faith, Lesley Gist met a wealth of people and stories that could not all be contained in her book. And so this meeting place affords Lesley the ability to introduce the remarkable people she has met to you and all friends of African-American heritage.
